Opportunity: A Japanese company brochure for the world’s largest retailer.
Solution: Create a Japanese-language brochure that reflects the corporate philosophy of Wal-Mart, a company that was founded on passing on every cost-saving measure into added value for their customer. In the U.S., all Wal-Mart corporate collateral are produced with significant employee contribution (photographs, articles, design). Design a brochure that appears to have been produced without any excess cost, including using images taken by company employees and printing on inexpensive recycled paper.
